Repair Refillable Air Duster
Stumptown Comics Fest
Aloha your followers of sequential narrative art!
to time I find myself back in beautiful Portland, Oregon, where I have the most friendly people in their local comic studio at my current work project .
Last weekend took place here, even a great comic book festival and I would like you about my discoveries there report.
The start of this year Stumptown Comics Fest was a charity dinner in favor of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund in the presence of the mayor Sam Adams, who had the year before the month of April to declare "Portland's comic Month.
As the official representative of the German comic scene (* cough * cough *) I ended up at a table with the very courteous Craig Thompson, who turned out to be a fan of Anke Feuchtenberger.
The next day the festival opened its doors.
Happy as a young beagle on the beach I was allowed to present the new mini-comic Flytrap, in the collaboration has emerged with the much talented hand Sara Ryan .
My neighbors consisted of direct state Periscopes young talents: Cat Ellis, Ron Chan , Rich Ellis and Susan Tardif .
The last two are very charming creator of the "Fantasy-Heist" comics "The Ravens' Gambit" , to be read entirely online. So, hop hop and read!
A still worked for me very very depressed all the buttons that cause feelings of happiness combined with high squeaking sounds to me!
The incredibly wonderful BEAST READ by Leslie Levings are loving Only products made of polymer clay and whatnot-the perfect gift for all people one likes. Buy!
Two books from the pens of Periscope members have (rightly) get quite a lot of attention:
Dylan Meconis' "Bite Me" and Erika Moen's "" DAR: A Super Girly Top Secret Comic Diary " .
Both have developed a reputation as an outstanding Webcomicmacherinnen. While Erika
their readers to participate in very private moments in their everyday life can be and bare, Dylan published historical fictional comics such as "Family Man ," a werewolf story from the Germany of the 18th Century.
Another discovery for me, the really damn good work by Keith Knight . Extremely funny, sometimes angry (when it comes to the Bush era, of course) and very emotional, his semi-autobiographical Strips are a truly represents a highlight of my discoveries this year's Comic! Funnily enough, his wife is from the Black Forest, which has led to some amusing Germany-USA-Strips. Highly recommended!
Freu looking forward looking forward and looking forward again! Derek Kirk Kim's and Gene Yang's collaboration "The Eternal Smile" is to finally start next week! German Publishers accesses! I am really big fan of Yang's "American Born Chinese " and Derek's "The Same Difference" (in German published by Reprodukt) and can not wait for the book for sale.
I could talk about soooo many other comics that I've seen at the festival, but I saving up for the next blog entries! For
krönenenden conclusion here is a picture of the exotic Stumptown Comic Fest visitors. There's nothing like a well-kept Mexican Hell's Angels Paris Hilton combo look. The big "Why" I can not answer, unfortunately ...
Maybe it's better to finish with something "beautiful", before also because there is no way around it that I post this picture.
Here's my number 1 FanGirl-MOMENT with JEFF SMITH!
So now I can sleep in peace ...

U Control Phantom Rc Helicopter
For all cows Part 2
Hello little Easter Beagle !
are the first three pencil pages for the comic strip For All The Cows! Currently I have
inked half finished.
It is therefore running out to meet the deadline. Nevertheless, I remain
cautiously optimistic!
In the meantime, I prepare myself mentally ever before on the Stumptown Comics Fest and putting stuff in a couple of buttons, which I also want to show here as soon as possible.
you some nice chocolate bunnies!
you soon!

Songs Played In Jc Penny
For All The Cows
news in Burrinilandia!
An even great blessing (or curse, if not a double-edged sword! * Gasp *) is still the Internet, I thought to myself, when I was a few weeks ago an email from a certain Robert Burke Richardson from Canada reached. In this mail
expressed the young Canadian author, he was interested in working with me and that, in order to realize a story for Popgun Comics, an anthology from Image comics.
Since I'm looking forward naturally as a bumblebee in the summer and I will hurry up to meet the deadline!
What is in the comic, you see, I guess times, roughly from the attached pictures!
available here soon again a few fresh USA-impressions, I again on Wednesday in the beautiful Oregon to visit the more beautiful Periscope Studio fly. There
(more a state) then I go to the Emerald City Con in Seattle and the Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland itself, where even the little short comic Flytrap 4 "by Sara Ryan and myself will appear. In addition, there are this year a special guest who knocks down especially me:
Jeff Smith!
I mean all the paparazzi shamelessness would use to capture a few pictures!
But until dahn is still a lot to do ...
Until then, my little rainy Easter bells!

Why Does A Dog Have Mucus In Her Poop
Recovered
From the series "projects for which I have applied", I again found an old picture. One of many that I had made a pitch for a youth book series. Was not bad, that did not work out and actually a good opportunity to try new different brushes in Photoshop!
Ui yes, of course, is again new pages on my Webcomics Comic Gate!
And now back to work ...

Boots From The 1980's With Red Laces
Year's resolutions ...
A new year has begun, as perhaps some may have already noticed.
This is probably an ideal time to reflect good intentions. to complete
1) The new
22-page comic project with my talented cousin: So I was in a year at this time again is a good laugh about what I like I do not manage to find a selection of my intentions!
2) draw more comics ...
3) Less hang out on the Internet (blogging is not, ahem ...)
4) Less to sneak cupboard during the day.
5) More comics ...
6) Do something with my hair so they look good.
7) hopes to give up on their own pony or squirrel!
I also would like to do more comics.
are explanations of my good intent No.1 it soon.
is evidence in the form of a sketch of the character design for the project detailed!
In that sense, Cheers, and do not buy strawberries in winter!
